    Lake Taylorville

Going to head down there to do some crappie fishing this weekend, and it looks like a pretty shallow lake. Who has the best map of this lake and how easy is it to get around? Thanks.

You can't go wrong running on Taylorville. After you make the left turn and then the right turn at the golf course, it gets very shallow from there south..Small lake ane it has some good crappie. Also a 35 mph speed limit..

There is one mighty stump just down lake from that first big bend... if you stay right (if running up lake) of the point you should easily avoid it.

I don't know if its shown on maps, but I usually see some marker around it. The marker was gone last fall.

Thats fine Bryan, I would hate to see a 211 in my neck of the woods. People with the "others" would really start talking .

Should've headed to gown there. It took 21+lbs to win, and all I caught were two small steelheads and big brown trout. I am now determined to figure out S LMich smallmouth.
