I know this isn't the ideal job or even a career, but it's something. I was given this info from one of my coworkers in hopes I might know somebody who needs a job. Here's the info:

"Securitas Security Services USA, Inc

We are currently hiring for an event in Peoria, IL. The position will last at least 30 days and it will require you to be ready to work in Peoria, IL by 1/31/11. The work week will consist of five 12 hr days. This means there will be a guaranteed 20 hrs of OT every week!!!

Security officers make $11.00 hr
Free Uniforms

HOTEL AND MEALS PROVIDED!!!
Mileage up to 30 miles reimbursed

Supposedly CAT is going on strike and they need extra security?? Just passing on the info, surely somebody on here or somebody you know could use a job.

Be careful if you accept that job. Unfortunately, things will be ugly down there if a strike does happen.

Hope people keep things civil, but I doubt they will.
