Anybody read Dec issue of Bassmasters on Power Plant lakes?

They had small articles on Newton, Sangchris, Coffeen and Lasalle Lake. They had comments from Chuck Ditto( owner of Parasite Tackle in Shelbyville) John Wright who both fish alot of Central Illinois tournaments. Here's to Illinois gettin some national recognition

Surprised they would even mention that lake. They should just call it Catfish Lake. Only a couple miles from it and lucky if I go there more than once a year.

I don't think that they gave John Wright enough credit. To say that he fishes a lot of Central Illinois tournaments is the understatement of the year. John is probably the best bass fisherman in Illinois. He also kicks arse on Kentucky Lake too.
