You can probably purchase an Evinrude manual with a color wiring diagram from Ken Cook Co.
Make sure the stop circuit is not grounded first.
Most likely the flywheel will have to be pulled and the coils, points, plug wires and condensers will need to be replaced.
Your motor may have a vacuum cutout switch which could also cause a no spark situation.
Run a compression check and check the lower unit for water before you get started on this project.
You may find that repairs vastly exceed the value of the engine.
