Been using Quantum and Shimano for years and bought 4 new Lews last year and I'm hook on their performance, now I'll have to see how well they hold up over time but for now my next reels will be Lews.

I have both Lew's Speed Spools and Abu's Gen 1 Revo STX.. Both are great reels, but will be transitioning all my reels to Lew's.. Lew's in my opinion are better and what I would take it offered the two! Just my opinion

I'm a Lews guy all day long I've only had one issue with the Lews and the customer service had it fixed in two days. My wife got me a Revo for Christmas last year....It was missing the brake knob...yes missing it...and well I called and they sent me another one...well it was the wrong one. When I called back to get it replaced it cost me $15 dollars. I explained the situation and the lady replied by asking me my credit card number for the item. I got the knob because it had to have it but I will not forget that!!!! By the way that reel is for sale!! haha Revo HS STX 7:1 anyone want it let me know!!

Very small differences in reels. For me I use the Revo sx and stx. Great gear ratios to choose from and I like the additional bearings on the levelwind and the carbon drag. I also like the brakes and magnets together on the STX and If I had to choose one I would have magnets only instead of brakes like the SX. Saying one outperforms the other is more of preference than anything. If properly cleaned and lubed they will all perform well

I have several of both but only been using the Lews about a year now. Really like the Lews as far as performance and price goes.

The Revo's are good reels as well, but for some reason, my Revo SX's seem to be smoother than my premiers.

Toss up either way, don't think you can go wrong.

I have several ABU STX and TWO rockets, I also have three Tour Pro Speed spools. the three are nearly equal in retreve and smoothness. I can cast my REvos farther especially the rockets.

I have a couple Lew's and several low to mid level revos. I like them both. My lew's reels feel smoother until it they get wet. Then it is like the oil washes out easily and they are noticeably rougher than the revos until I re-oil them. My revos are all good reels, but some are noticeably better than other, identical reels. I will continue to use both brands... until I get paid to use 1 particular brand! #notgonnahappen

I use both for casting but can say I have had less problems out of my Lews. I use shimano for spinning with several CI4s. All these reels are on abu sticks.

Not saying which one is best, just saying I prefer Revo's.

I jumped on the Revo train by ordering 8 of them when they first hit shelves. Used them up until Lew's got back in the game. Bought a couple Tournament Pro's and new right away that I had to sell all my Revo's. They are great reels, no doubt but Lew's blew me away. I like the bigger handles on the Lew's and the outer adjustment is awesome. Very easy to dial in when fishing lighter baits. I'm fishing BB-1 Pro's now and I dont think there's a better reel made by any brand. I do have a couple of the Tournament Lite's on order. Those things are super super light and felt good in hand. I would expect these will be nothing less than another stellar reel made by Lew's.

Revos are the only reels that I haven't stripped out on hooksets yet so I gotta stick with Revos..

    Revo Winch for crankbaits
Revo STX for most everything else.
Gave a Lew's Tournament Pro an honest try. Same price point as the STX. Excellent reel in all respects. I prefer the STX.
Sold the TP and bought a new 8.0:1 STX.

The STX is the King Of All Revo's in my opinion.
