Well took it back to bps and they exchanged it no problem. Since it was less than a year they could exchange it. No questions asked!

thats a good deal...same with the okuma rods i have, you just send back a few inches from where it was broke, saves on shipping big time. Only had to do it once but it did make for a lot easier process than having to package the entire rod. i have a broken mojo i have to deal with also.
