Your first sentence in your post here raised the red flags. That is the kind of attitude we see in other websites, and that is why we were very suspect of you in the beginning. Stick around, you may even get to like us, learn a few things, and have a bit of fun. This site will grow on you, something like various species of algae.![]()
There ain't no sheep around here, everyone is "good folks" (well, maybe Rusty and CM might be a bit particular) and we all help each other. One thing this site has that others do not is the "juice" we have to get the factory to notice someone's problem and many times we help get it taken care of.
Since the Internet is full of untruths or "one sided stories" we get to the bottom of them and help the person out. Tell your "friend" to stop by here or at least call BRP customer service about his plug problems. He is better off finding a compentent dealer who can take care of any warranty problems and who has the latest in special equipment, training, and service bulletins. There have been 2 already concerning spark plug life.
From what I hear it may be a few more weeks before you get your new 200's. They are producing the 150's right now and the 175's shortly. Are you having an authorized dealer rig them or are you doing it yourself?
Feel free to use the website's search function to find out about E-TEC owners and info that has already been posted here over the years.
