@StumpDonkey - FINN Fishing has USA made sun hoodies (it is Tyler Berger on YouTube, I think he named the company after his son) -- I have recently ordered one (cannot speak to quality as I have not worn it yet) and got a free pair of sun gloves as well (I think that deal ended yesterday)

That's brutal. I have half a dozen HUK cause I got em on sale and liked the colors. But you're right, been fishing for years and all I care about is being a cool kid and wouldn't known a bronze back from a big mouth if they put one in front of me with name tags on them.

To me its just a sun block shirt. One isn't necessarily going to protect you better than the next, provided you buy something of decent quality. I don't wear it to be the star of the fashion show.

I have both and will wear my Huk shirts in public like this rest of the cool kids but I like Simms better regardless, the comment was being silly however there is truth to it.

Haven’t tried yet but Seatec claims to be American made https://seatecoutfitters.com/

Mostly wearing Aftco now. I’ve purchased Huk in the past and been disappointed with the quality.

I have Habit, Simms, Columbia, Hurley, O’Neil, Orvis, Nike, and several others but the coolest wearing ones are definitely Patagonia. Something about the fiber or the weave, not sure, but they are definitely cooler.

I got in a habit of ordering some cheaper ones on Amazon…. Bad thing with some are the hoods are so dang big they’ll fly off your head looking in to the wind… drives me crazy!!

Anetik. Nothing else is as breathable as this shirt in warm or hot weather.

Agreed on their pull over sun shirts. My Patagonia is the one I grab.

As for button up I prefer Columbia or Orvis.

The shirts at Sam’s Club are cheap, but I think they are hot!

I really like these from Reel Life.

If you have a Bealls near you then you can get them for cheap at $14.99. I bought a ton of them because I like them so much.

I pick them up anywhere from time to time. An old AFTCO one is my favorite. I recently bought one of the Jason Christie AFTCO shirts with the oversized hood for sun protection. I have a Falcon one and a Brannan's Bass Shop, Powderly Texas shirt that's a favorite souvenir. Some have heavier fabric than others...the Jason Christie one for sure.
    Don't worry Ma'am....
    I'm only here for the
    Bass.

I have about 8 of the "Reel life" UV shirts Sams sells. I believe they were like $14.99. I love them and have had them for about 4-5 years now. About a month ago I noticed they have some now that are hooded. I bought a couple of those too. Or, if you want to impress the guys at the ramp you can pay $55 for the name brands at BPS that aren't any better.

I wear a Columbia PFG Terminal Tackle long sleeve t-shirt in white when I'm out on the water, as well as a World Wide Sportrsman sun hat (with a vail for the neck) and a long bill. The t-shirt is very comfortable, dries quick and blocks the sun. The hat keeps the sun off my head and neck too. I also wear white running shoes with white socks, my feet get sunburn when wearing flip-flops or sandals.

    Totally agree for button ups.

Thank you guys for all the recommendations! Didn't realize there were so many to choose from... holy smokes lol. Anybody tried these Seatec's. I like that they are supposedly USA made (I try to support American made whenever possible). Curious about the quality and fit.

They are mostly made out of same materials.

No reason to buy an expensive one…just because it has a big brand name.

Magellan at Academy Sports is what I use. Fish, mow grass.

I got caught up in buying the big name brands years ago.

I donated most of those to charity, didn’t wear them.
