I will find this out for you, I have never really thought about doing something along those lines.

What will you be selling next & shouldn't you have to be a sponsor

I like Amart but probably so. To me, make a post offer up your discount & let it go. His 37 post are almost all entirely in this 1 thread. Make some contributions other than just trying to sell a product. That is what sponsors are for. If he ponies up some $ to Al, then post away

Hard to do when you just joined a forum. Got to start from the bottom at some point. Thank you for your opinion.

I wouldn't call joining a forum a year and 3 months ago "just joining"

Outside of that...this thread has been more interesting than watching a midget run the 100 yard dash

I wonder if some of the go getters in this thread don't go around looking for girl scouts selling cookies so they can strike up an argument about their advertising, product and sales tactics. It's like it's absolutely impossible to allow someone to say something you disagree with, without getting on here and "setting their ass straight". Nobody like the guy who is always right and we all know "that guy". Don't be "that guy".

I check in every 2 pages, I have NO idea what Taw has said in his last 20 posts ?? Taw Are you a therapist or social worker or do you belong to a Shaolin Temple ?? You have never lost your cool and you are the first male to listen to a Argument and just give a confusing feedback. You have to be a politcian or therapist..

Add me to the Solar Bat satisfied customer list. Have owned two of the more expensive pairs for 10 years or more. Wore out the nose piece on the first pair. Called Solar Bat. They replaced for free plus shipping. $4 or $6, I believe.
I have been eyeing the Rick Clunn series since they were introduced. I believe I will be taking TAW up on the 20% discount soon for a pair of the Clunn Signature Series.
I know it is tough for retailers to carry all the brands and styles of products due to the cost involved, However, It would be nice if a company or representative from said company had a way of providing sample frames for the end users. Proper fit is very important when wearing sunglasses all day.

I agree about fit. I really like the Mossback lenses, but tried 2 different frames, neither was a comfortable fit for me. So I gave them to my dad. Still using them after several years.

I will take your idea into consideration and definitely bring it up to Mr. Nesty. Maybe some thing like he sends you the glasses you would like to try for a small charge as like a deposit and if you don't return them or you decide to keep them cause you like then, he charges you the cost of the sunglasses.

Or maybe he just gets a CC number, then charges you a monthly fee to use them, forever.

That way, it won't matter how much they cost, only that you keep the monthly payment low.

I think their problem is going to be brand perception. If you are a down market brand, it hard to go up market with the same brand. It's why when Toyota wanted to go up market they created the Lexus brand. If you are an up market brand it is easy to go down market, but it cheapens the brand perception, and you can't go back up market. If Solarbat wants to return up market they need to create another brand.

I remember when you couldn't give a Humminbird away, so it may be possible for companies to come back from the dead, there are probably numerous examples of companies being resurrected through technological advances.
