Ranger Trailer suspension adjustment for larger rims.

Has anyone gone from 14" rims to 17" rims and made the 12 degree rotation on the trailer [Swing Arms Down 12 degrees (2 Notches)]. to accommodate for the larger wheels?...........Gaining fender/wheel clearance.

Following... I’d love to move up a size or two on my single axle trailer.

Is the overall diameter of your wheel and tire combo changing?

My dealer did it to mine when I upgraded to Bullet wheels. Should be fairly easy as long as they’re not frozen on the spindle.

I did my torsion axle adjustment, going from 14" to 17" Challenger wheels. Very easy, mark with sharpee and remove bolt to pull off spline.IMG-5909.JPG

Not sure if you all are still on this thread but I am in need of some help. I have a 2003 Ranger 519 and want to move from a 14” rim and tire to a 15” combo. I have a dual axle trailer and not really sure about how to solve the problem of clearance between tire and fender. First….If you adjust the torsion on one of the axles do you need to make the same adjustments to the other axle? I believe but not 100% sure that if you make an adjustment on one side you need to do the same to the other side. Just not sure about the adjustment on the other axle. The reason I am asking is that my front axle sits in the center of my fiberglass fender but the back axle is not in the center. It is more towards the front axle about an inch and a half forward of center. I would like to adjust the back axle only but I am not sure of the what that will do to load balance and possible other side effects of doing so. Second… is it common for a Ranger trail trailer to have an axle not centered in fender? I was told if I purchased a 15” rim that was 5on4.5 , 3.19 center bore with 0 offset it would fit however it does not largely due to back axle being left of center. Third.. How much space or clearance do I need between tire and fender?

DTS does your trailer have torsion axles, thinking Ranger didn't go away from leaf springs until 2005
