Trevor Lawrence is nothing new to us, basically the same mold as Stidham, Fromm, Fitzgerald, and Ta'amu. All big guys who have B2 bombers for throwing arms. In case y'all are watching, I'll be the old dude in section 400 throwing all you Bama haters the single digit salute (just kidding, my kids and colleagues would never let me live that one down). Owili Kaha Owili!
Trevor Lawrence can outrun his running back, just fyi. He doesnt do much running but he can go when he wants. The lines on both sides should be good match ups. Tua couldn't handle the pressure against GA and hes still hurt. If Clemson can hit him a few times he will get worried about that ankle and maybe get off beat a little. Neither team can afford to come out slow and get way behind. What Clemson has going is a Alabama secondary that might allow some passes, especially quick slants and stuff. That will beat any pressure they get.

I personally think Clemson defense is way better than Georgia’s. Tua is gonna be under a slew of pressure. I’m looking forward to see how he handles it. He may light em up. Never know. Gonna be a hell of game.

Bama has too many weapons..and a healthy QB who is very good against the blitz... Bama will win more plays on defense than Clemson...and Clemson won't be able to keep up...gonna be a good one...

Tua isnt healthy. Listen to the end of the game interview after GA. He says as much without saying it hurts still. And Clemson doesnt have to blitz to get pressure usually.

Tua is good to go, but just in case he’s not, the new and vastly improved Jalen will be more than qualified to take the helm. I expect to see more double tight end sets so that Tua will get additional time to throw. Smith and Hentges are more than capable of creating blocking and route running issues. Don’t get me wrong, Clemson always makes me nervous, not because of Swinney, but because of Venables. He’s a crusty ol’ fox who is more than happy to load the box and bring the heat.

Clemson has NO chance. Shouldn't even play the game. Hopefully Saban will play the bench in the 4th quarter and kick field goals instead of Touchdowns.

    ESPN recently showed a stat:

In the last 3 years AL has signed more HS All Americans than CL, OU, and ND - COMBINED. AL should win with just talent alone - or Saban sucks as coach

I heard it... he's good...got to remember how he finiy the season...bad knee and 2 bad ankles...he was very sharp, very smooth on his throws against OU. Moved around well...had another week of rehab...I'm sure if you had a piece of cable holding your ankle together a couple weeks out of surgery you'd be sore too... especially after playing a football game...you can bet those quick slants that Bama did so well against OU were all part of the plan to get it out of his hands quickly to keep him from having to move the pocket because of that ankle...I'd imagine some more similar stuff and Venables planning for it as well...

But it's Bama, so still a safe bet.....

Who cares? Fans aren’t going.....host city expected to lose $10 million. Price of tickets on avg are $120 today compared to $1700 last year in Atlanta. Same old teams but the long distance venue is ridiculous. Even Bama fans are tired of winning! Hehe.
