I searched and couldn't find the page that used to be a sticky. Was going to get a set of plugs this weekend for a 97 200 Venom. What plug is recomended and what is the gap?

I guess I'm out of the loop here and don't get it. What plug is better. The parts store had the plugs CM mentioned. I ran them and everything seemed good.

Either plug will work, there is a inside joke about spark plugs around here, I like the QL77JC4 while Seahorse likes the QL78YC, we have a little fun with it from time to time.![]()

Pros & Cons, what are the advantages of the J gap plug over the surface gap plug??

According to the manual the UL77's are used for extended running at WOT. But for general service stick with the originals. I prefer the UL77's indexed! CM

As long as you use the magic marker trick to mark where the carb injectors come in then you can torque it down to about 250, that way you get no blow by on the seating rings,![]()
