Benjamin Moye Classic - High Rock Lake

Last year some of the BBC guys fished the Moye Classic, a tournament designed to give kids at the Baptist Children's Home in Thomasville an opportunity to get out on the water and enjoy a day of fishing and fun. It's held on High Rock Lake, and the hours are pretty relaxed.

The tournament is running again this year, on September 19, and I would like to invite anybody that wants to come to please send me your email adr, drop me a note at silverchamp203@yahoo.com or an IM, and I will put you on the mailing list for the tx.

The format is a kid, the kid's counselor from school, and you on the boat. The big money comes from getting to see a kid enjoy fishing. There are prizes for the kids, as in 'most fish', 'largest bluegill', 'largest bass', etc etc. There is no cost to you, other than gas, and it's well worth the time.

I need to get in contact with all who are going to participate in the Moye Classic. We are going to have shirts made for each of the boaters, and I need sizes, etc to be accurate.

Please either drop a post here, or an IM in the next couple of days so I can get that info to Greg. If you will IM me with Email addy, I will send you a pdf of the announcement with all the data on it.

At present we have 41 kids comming, and 15 known boats comming. So there is a real need there if you have the time Saturday to come out and help. We also need a few individuals / boaters wives / etc for other duties. If there is anyone that wants to be involved at that level please contact me as well. IM is best, or leave a post here.
