Looking for some help on spark plugs. The listed plugs are QL16v or QL77jc4. I cant seem to find either of them anywhere around here. Before I order them online, will the L77jc4 be suitable for my motor? They are a dime a dozen, but the other two just arent around at any place I've tried. Thanks

I think you read the sparkplug chart wrong. A 1979 115hp takes either a QL77JC4 or a QL82C, gapped at .030".
Any dealer would have those plugs, as would most auto supply stores, or they could get them in within a day or two. Walmart, West Marine, and other big box stores should have them with the marine items. The 77's are one of the most common outboard plugs. The 82's work well in older motors that are used for trolling a lot or a lot of low speed running.
