An electric fuel pump jury-rigged in a boat is neither recommended nor safe. Most are not Coast Guard approved or have a safety cutoff feature.
Use the factory pump system or convert to a pre-mix fuel pump, but don't try to rig up an electric pump system.

what is the major concern with an electric pump? Is it a mechanical/motor safety issue, or is it a personal safety issue?
Thanks for the replies
