Just a thought...aren't all HO engines recommended to use XD100, I also have an 08 250 HOinstalled 12/07 and have had all the injectors replaced, 5 at one time under warranty way back in 09, so far 420 + hrs and no mechanical problems. I now run ethanol free gas but from day one have used XD100 and double filter/ water separate my fuel with Moeller manifold and filter with sight glass bottom and add 16 oz of Seafoam to every 16 gal of fuel. I believe keeping all trash out of the fuel is key to 2 stroke EFI engines.

I hope I don't jinx myself by telling this.i have a 2009 etec 150ho that has close to 400 hours.since day one I have always used seafoam in the fuel.i don't overdue it but at least every other tank full I will add 1 bottle of seafoam.the only fuel I have used is 87 octane ethanol blended(just because ethanol blended is all they had)and I have always used Pennzoil syn.blend oil.so far I guess I have been the lucky one because I have had zero problems.but I have also been told by etec service techs that the 150ho engine is by far the most reliable and trouble free engine of all the etecs.
