Results of April NoAl Tournament on Smith

The April NoAl tournament was held this past Saturday on Smith. We only had a total of four boats for this month's event but I think everyone had a good time and enjoyed the camaraderie and fellowship nonetheless.

Smith can be a tough nut to crack for some of us - well, okay, maybe just me - but I was happy to see that everyone brought fish to the scales. More impressively, three of the four teams weighed in a limit and every fish weighed in was over the 13"-15" slot limit. We didn't have any of those magnum spots show up but first place went to Dennis Sandoval and Matthew King with a five fish limit totaling 11.05 pounds. They also had big fish honors with a nice 2.49 pound spotted bass. Second place went to John Scogin and David Scogin with a limit weighing 10.12 pounds.

The next NoAl tournament will be held on Weiss the 7th of May out of Leesburg Landing. I look forward to seeing everyone there!

Thanks for all you do Avery. We had a blast. Caught lots of fish (small) and enjoyed the fellowship at the weigh-in. Looking forward to next month.

Hate we missed but I had to finish a job sat morning, april is one my favorite times to fish smith. congrats to the winners. I did get to slip over to upper bear sat evening and catch a couple 4 lbers and many smaller ones. I hope to make it next month.
