    Guntersville practice

    Hey guys,
I am going down to Guntersville October 11th fishing a tournament and I was wondering if anyone would be able to give me some advice or some tips of things to look for. I was down there for a couple days this week and I found the matted grass bite was non existent. I flipped and threw a frog and only caught 2 fish. First thing in the morning I was able to round out a few fish in front of the grass on a topwater and also was able to fish some ledges and deep grass lines and catch a few. Am I completely off base with not thinking the grass bite is there? Also how do you think that bite will change in a week, will this cooler weather turn that frog and punching bite on? thanks

    Re: Guntersville practice (Ptcher2006)

I am headed there Thursday. Everyone expects the frog bite to turn on any day now. I was there last week too and pretty much experienced the same thing you did. So I guess we both suck
