Avery if you want to we can meet and you can follow me in . Or take Hwy 78 east toward Birmingham thru Jasper Turn left on to Hwy 69North toward Cullman (When you start to leave town and see big Raceway gas station on the right turn left at the light. Hwy 69 N) It's about 10 miles you'll go down a steep grade and you'll see the sign for the dam the turn will be to the left. It's been a while but I think there's a turn to the right to put you on the road that goes by the landing

    Re: (Gitthenet)

Terry and I found a different way there saturday, coming down hyw 5 as your coming in to jasper turn left on brakefeild dairy rd, it right in front of a charity bingo, stay on that road straight and when you cross 195 it will turn into 257 and then on through curry and turn right on smith dam rd. there a jacks in curry before you turn for biscuit purposes. We could meet at natural bridge if needed.

    Re: (Super-Pro)

Chad, you have to be in good standing with the BBC, have 10 post which you have ,and been a member for 30 days, which you have covered. Next go to this link and print and fill out the two forms (http://www.scribd.com/full/2056739?a...f7n6yhgwzxqx1c) and (http://www.bassboatcentral.com/waiverforms1.htm)
Let Avery know you are going to be there and the main thing they want is your money.
Sorry , but i cant make the links work. Just go to ( what you need for tournament day) on the main page and the info will be there.

    Re: (Super-Pro)

You need to make sure you meet the boater insurance requirement also if your bringing your boat. I think it is $100k of liability insurance. You need to bring proof of this to the first tournament (I think). Avery or someone please confirm the current rules regarding this issue.

Welcome to the group! I think you will like our laid back format and willingness to give our money to anyone willing to take it!

    Re: (CrankinStein)

Yeah, let me know what the insurance requirements are so I can check with my agent and make sure my coverage is sufficient. I'm pretty sure I'm good to go. Hope to see you guys there if Avery approves it.

    Re: (Super-Pro)

This is from the "orentation for new members" thread.

    2. You must have at least $100,000.00 of liability insurance coverage on your boat and keep a current copy of the front page of the policy in your boat showing your name, coverage and expiration date. From time to time the director will assign someone to check insurance papers and anyone not having up to date coverage will not be allowed to fish a tourney until the coverage is in force.

I'm sorry if i overlooked it, but how much is this tourney? I would like to fish it also. Oh by the way ,how does the lake look? Wasn't it down for a while? I haven't been down that way in a long time.

If I can get a kind soul to catch "calls" at work for that day, I just might join you all. Won't know for sure until end of this week though. Good fishin'...

Sounds good, Chad! Just be sure to bring a copy of your insurance information (well, along with the entry fee, of course) and we're good to go! Look forward to seeing you there!

    Will you have a partner?

The lake is way up for this time of year. Yesterday it was at 508 which is about 2ft below summer pool. I'm sure after all the rain we will get today it will definetly be up to summer pool if not above.
