I'm no longer guiding, but I was there to do a photo shoot with another guy who had over 30-lbs. Cold water don't always mean slowing down, going deep or downsizing. We always do well on spinner baits and rattle baits in 4 to 7 feet of water, no matter how cold it gets. It may not work up there I guess, but it does down here. Good luck, it's always fun trying
