Results of NoAl tournament on Pickwick

We had a decent 8-boat turnout for our tournament on Pickwick today. It started out a little cool early in the morning but turned out to be a gorgeous, but breezy, day with temps reaching the mid-60's.

Even though there were only two limits, every single boat brought fish to the scales today. Harry Speegle placed first with a five fish limit weighing 14.6 pounds, including a nice 3.9 pound kicker. It wasn't enough for big fish honors, however. That prize went to the team of Andrew Inmon and Brandon Wilburn with a 4.8 pound toad, which anchored a five fish, second place limit weighing 14.3 pounds.

Congratulations to today's winners and a big "thank you" to all of today's participants!

Enjoyed it as usual. Some great looking fish brought in from all over the lake. Look forward to next time.

Thanks to Duane also for driving down from just east of Nashville to fish with us.

Actually, the scales we used measured in tenths of a pound instead of pounds and ounces. That would make it 4.8 ounces if I figured it correctly. Still pretty darn close, though!

Thanks for letting me fish with you guys. Thanks to Jason for being me and Eric's truck vallet. I had fun. Whoever brought the hook samples - thanks. I had a 4.0lb fish. I thought for sure I might have a shot at big fish.

thanks for the correction avery, thats the first time i have really ever done good in a tourny i have won a few but never brought in that much weight.

i was looking at the FOM website and me and harry would have had third and fourth 4th was 14.34 or something like that its according to how their scales was.
