    SoAL Swift Creek results

Here are some pics from the tournament. I'll leave the color commentary to our tournament director.

David Sikes bringing our little bag to the scales.

Melvin Davis enjoying one of the many rides at The Alabama River Amusement Park.
Actually Rick had a little engine problem and had to be towed in (notice Rick is not as amused).

Jason Phillips......Rick says this one's for you!

Remember, I did the same at Martin. Maybe we're cursed. Whoops my mistake. At Martin I threw a blade. It was another tournament at Eufaula I burned a hub.

Rick, saw your post in the Evinrude forum. I hear that our lightning gearcases are pretty fragile even thought they might not acknowledge it there.
However when you do prop reworking with a hammer, this might be a factor.

hey....a little hammering with a 5 lb. sledge shouldn't hurt much..... Had a new prop on it at the time.....the foot musta broke when I dragged it down the highway from Gunterville to Montgomery.....just glad it didn't start any forest fires, I think. I think it's covered under the warranty ...If not I'll tell them that the Georgia Boy is gonna loan me some $ sos I can pay for it and fish this Sat.

I wouldn't post that Warren,...there is a LOT of copper missing from around here....someone might think that you use that extra heavy duty diesel pickup of yours to back up to houses and pull all the copper piping out at one time.... that would look funny going up the interstate........

Saw your post in the lounge. If you pay $80,000 a year in taxes, how about buying this poor retired Ga. boy a new boat instead.
