    Northern members need to vote on which weekend to fish, too!!

    Us northern members need to vote on which weekend we want to fish, too. I'd like for us to consider fishing a different weekend than the Southern Section for a couple of different reasons. First of all, I'm sure there will be some that will want to fish both section's tournaments and, secondly, we'll probably need to share weigh-in equipment for a little while at least.

    I personally would prefer to fish the third weekend if that's possible. A number of local clubs have their tournaments on either the second and fourth weekend of the month and the local ABA district only has one tournament on the third weekend with the remainder scattered throughout the month.

    FWIW, we'll vote on which lake to fish in October in a week or so once we've decided exactly which weekend we'll be fishing.

    You sound like me, Todd!

    So should we wait to vote until the SoAl boys make a decision and then make a selection based on what's left over? I'm going to do my best to be there no matter what! Besides, what possible reason could I have to miss out on a free breakfast once a month!!

    Seriously though, I don't have any real strong convictions about it one way or another. The only other "committment" I have is to fish X-number of ABA tournaments and Chris Hensley, the director of the newly-created Region 117, has scheduled all but one of his on the second and fourth weekends. Our BBC tournaments take priority but I'd still like to fish the ABA tournaments whenever I can.

    Just an opinion (I know )
    If our T director is going to be at a Southern T on the 3rd weekend
    AND
    there is a chance for the Southern boys to fish a Northern T, .. ..may want to wait and see what happens with the SoAL vote.

    Unfortunately I am also scheduled for the 21st with the ABA District that I run. So I guess I will have to skip this one. The 4th weekend is also booked up with the grand opening of Gander Mountain in Huntsville as I am required to be there....

    A few miles north of the 565 and U.S. 231 interconnect on U.S. 231. It will be on your right if you are going north. I saw it last time I was up that way.

    Well, guys, it's looks like the 3rd Saturday of the month is clearly everyone's choice so we'll call it a done deal.

    Now everyone needs to click on over and select a lake to fish in October. Winn suggested, and I agreed, that we consolidate the October vote. Beginning in November, however, we'll have separate threads for the northern and southern chapters which should make it a little easier for knuckelheads like me to figure it out!
