Would you recommend smartcraft on a new 250 proxs?

Not sure if I should spend the extra money.

read about the mercmonitor on the merc threads...not knowing the temp of your motor will point u in the right direction...

The Mercmonitor is well worth having. I keep mine on temp 99% of the time.

As previous folks have said, gotta have it. Why spend all the money on a new 250 if you don't even know if it is warming up properly? Just for the thermostat monitoring alone on these new rigs they are worth the money.

there are 3 levels of mercmonitors..talk with Don Weed on the 3.0 merc thread he gives BBC members a discount and will help all the way through installation..remember if u take out the tach u lose the trim gauge and that is a neccessary accessory..

I wouldn't even consider running an Optimax without one.
