Motor cuts off...

2 weeks ago while out fishing I was running 70mph down the lake and alarms went off and motor shut right down. Backside got a little wet and I got a little frustrated to say the least. None of my lights stayed on showing overheat or low oil, nothing. I started right back up and have zero alarm going off. Fast forward to this afternoon. Running down river at 1/2 speed (had my daughter with me) and alarm goes off and shuts her down. This time the no oil light stays on. I check and I have just under 1/2 reservoir of oil??? WTF is going on?? I let it set for 15 minutes and fished trying to let it cool down. Started up and same thing. Now however we are in safe mode and idle speed only. I am 12 miles upriver from the nearest ramp so downstream 2 hours of idling back to ramp. Thanks to BBCer 512 (Lee Butler) and his family for coming and getting my keys to return with my truck and boat trailer. This saved me an additional 45-50 minute easily. Any ideas??

Picked the boat up yesterday and found out the problem was a fuse under the cowling for oil injection... I am very thankful to my shop for not killing me. This could have easily been a $150 - $200 bill with shop labor and diagnostics. Out the door for $45... He showed me what fuse it was under the cowling and I will be a little better prepared if this repeats itself.

It it was the fuse for the oil injector, and it happens again, you may be looking at an EMM repair or exchange.
