I'm looking at this boat. It has.a 2006 225 opti on it. The owner told me its gps speed was 67-68 mph. Boat has very low hours. Can any of you guys give me some insight on this boat. He said it is the XD model. Is this enough motor for the boat? That speed is plenty fast enough for me. What other model does it compare too ?

From what I am reading I thinks so. Have not seen boat in person yet. it is only supposed to have 25 hours on the rig. Any input would be appreciated!
Those were BIG, deep hulls. The 210 was probably rated for a 250. Even though the boat you're considering may have very low hours, it will still require inspection and service by a qualified tech. Since your in Coalfield, the Bunch Marine folks would be my choice there. My personal preference is the X/HP series hulls of that era. IMO, they are better overall performers and most came better equipped. Rob, aka TNsnow, will be able to give you more/better info. Good luck with your decision.

the210 is the x2 hull from what I've known. The xd model is a TR 21xd which is similar pad to the tr21 with tall sides. The x2 hull with a 225 is way under powered. I have a 21x2, the 210 is the cheaper version of that boat. I get 72 myself, 70 with two people loaded. So that boat if it's the x2 hull will prob be a 64-66 boat.
