Have a 2005 saltwater edition J150PLSOE. SS prop has no name or size and pitched stamped on it. Can only get 48 mph on a 187 CXDC Champ. Where can i find prop info?

Pull off the prop nut and washer then look at the stamp on the hub that will tell you the size. With the motor running correctly you should be able to spin a 22-24 pitch 3 blade Raker at 3.5" below the pad. Or a 21-23 pitch Renegade at the same motor height.
Thanks ChampioNman lea said you could help me. With his advice i raised jackplate to give me the 3.5 below pad. Came preset from Tempe Marine so i never bothered to change anything till i started realizing that i should be getting more out of motor. Your awesome
