What model Triton do you Have? Typically, The 2003 &up 201 is more stable at rest and high speed than a TR21x( the center of gravity is a little higher on the triton). The Triton is a nice boat but requires more driver input at high speeds, it's more prone to flop from side to side. Triton HP, X2,X3 have the gas tanks lower in the boat and are not as bad about floping and are more stable Rear deck and storage is simialr on both. Front deck on the stratos is a little wider with a little more room in the lockers and storage boxes than the hp & X models. You should see 75mph light loaded with a good set up. 72 touranment loaded empty live wells 2 people.

I agree with all he said but I'd think 73 mph light and 70 mph tourney loaded. Less driver input to keep the 201 straight and both fish very well, and ride nice. I wanted a Triton when I bought my 201, then I drove them the same day. The Stratos drove just as smooth w/ less effort and was a little cheaper. I was sold.

Layout will be the same. Except maybe the center storage. Can't remember if your boat has two compartments on just one. The 201 will have two.

    I have a 2003 201 ProXL with a 250 Merc. XB I am running at 74 with a tourny Load.

You should have no problem seeing 70+ mph. It rides extremely well with very little Chine Walking. They do have 2 storage bins on the front deck with rod locker on each side. 2 independent Livewells, along with 2 other storage bins on the back deck. Add a recessed trolling motor tray on the front deck and it will be the necest boat you ever fished out of.

Poeman, I live in Rogersville. I'll be glad to meet you and let you ride and drive my 201/250proxs. A 225 pro xs should only be a couple of MPH slower.
