I am preparing to sell this boat..., everything works, but needs carpeting and a good cleaning. Any ideas?
Its got a good trolling motor and GPS fishfinder.
I am not sure if I can check the hours on this boat, but if I ccan, it would be great, as I am sure they are low.
I have thought about re-carpeting the boat myself (no time), or even having it done, but I have no idea what this would or should cost. Any ideas?
BTW, this boat is around Tallahassee / Lake Seminole area.
I'd say $8500-10000. Doing the carpet would be a good idea. Also meguiars sells a three stage boat restore kit for $30-40. I have seen your boat obviously but I assume most 13yo boats could use a good polish. That meguiars kit will flat bring a boat back.
Unfortunately you cannot check hours on the motor. Carpet replacment is in the 1K range.
thanks for the info. I was afraid I couldnt check hours....its a shame because I am certain that they are probably very low considering the age of the boat. I may just have to take on a winter project this year and save a little money on the carpet job. I figure that doing the carpet is probably worth it as far as selling the boat goes.
