i just purchased a 94 400, and so far seems to be a great boat. it is a heavy boat so holeshot is a little slower than some. i came into this boat after having a skeeter, and so far i like it. good platform and stable in the water. just check out the transom and floors. one spot in floor to pay attention to is right behind the drain. make sure everything is solid and have the motor checked out.
Great hulls, just look the boat over good and make sure everything works as it should, look at the wear items, batts, trlr bearings, springs, tires, electronics, trolling motor etc. Have the motor and LU checked out if you are serious about buying.

That pricing is just NADA pricing. all in all, a boat is worth what someone is willing to pay. i searched the net and found a few 96 400se selling for round $9000 at dealerships. but they are in super clean condition. dealers are always a little higher than buying from individual in my opinion.
i looked at nada again assuming it is set up similar to mine with hydro jackplate and steering and graph, prop and cover it comes out to $7400
