Yep.. Livewells full she would drop off to 48 mph.. no matter where she sat height wise.. I also am running a 10 inch hydraulic Jackplate.

If you have the highspeed LU with low water pickup try a 26 TXP, 27 Tempest, 26 Fury all would be good choices.

Somethings not right it ought to turn a 26 better than 4800 rpm. Your either set way to low, tach is off, or your down on r's for some reason. It ought to be turning around 5500+ rpm.

tach was set for the mercury.. do I have to switch it for the yammie? I am assuming the motor is low.. I will check prop height measurements and try again.

Yes I would think you would need a Yam tach.

Its not a merc tach in it.. it is a teleflex tach.. Im not sure if the setting is right.. I am assuming it is.. as the idle and everything is where it should be.

Just checked my motor height and with the hydraulic plate hard up it is 3 inchs below pad.. I was running with it around 5 inchs below.

I tried a 24 tempest plus today at 3 inchs below pad ran 6000 rpm.. but gps wouldn't read so speed is unknown.. I would guess mid 60's
