yeah and if you just take the time to wrench it one good time you will never have to worry about that thing ever coming out. First off you do not wrench it down that is why it has a thumb wing!

and I seriously doubt the pressure from water will push it back into the hole to seal it enough to even talk about. I seriously know it will, I have seen a friend fish a full day in a tournament that forgot to screw his in, he realized it before blast off and said the pumps did not kick in but a few times all day!

first off, pressure from what? The weight of surrounding water that is above the drain plug, simple physics!


When is the water ever pushing at the back of your boat enough to do that? Anytime the boat is sitting still!

I had a crack in an aereator pump the size of my thumb nail and it would be up to my batteries in 10 min. if my bilge didn't kick on. You have answered your own questions above, if no pressure this would not happen!
