2001 225 Rude Ram peeping

The motor idles great, starts great, and runs awesome. The problem is that sometimes around 5600rpm the motor light comes on and starts peeping. I would shut it down retstart and have no issues. I have ran through the peeper and it does go off. I have heard that will happen if some water gets into the fuel filter.
I have already blown one up and dont really want it to happen again.

Which light is coming on? You should take it to a good BRP mechanic and have the computer hooked up and the trouble codes read to see what the problem is.
