Faria RPM Gauge Problem

Hello all. I haven't been around for a while. First off, my '08 200 HP ETEC is flawless and I love it every time I bump the ignition and she fires right up! I can't tell you guys how much I love this thing.

I am now having an issue with the RPM guage. The ETEC system lights work just fine (included on the Faria RPM gauge) but the dang Tach doesn't work now. I haven't done anything, like work or additions to disturb anything. It worked when I used it last in November, I fired it up in January and the durn thing doesn't work at all. Just sitting there??

Any ideas on where to start looking?

Pull the gauge out and send it to faria they have a lifetime warranty. You could go over and see Steven and have it checked out.

Champ. Why am I not surprised you replied? What a tremendous help you were in helping me before. I can't tell you the satisfaction and just pure enjoyment I've had with the 'rude.

I do need to go over and visit with Steve anyway, it's been a while. I got on the Faria Website last night and noticed the Lifetime Warranty thing. I'm going to call them Monday and find out how to get it to them. I just don't understand. It worked just fine the last time I used the boat and after letting it set for about 3 months, it didn't work. The same thing is happening with my Lowrance X-51. Comes on, but screen is black. I can hear everything working, but black screen. Worked fine last time out. Both the Faria and the X-51 at the same time.
