    Question on warranty

I just bought my boat in March of this year. This past weekend the 2 bolts on the back of my trailer fender came loose and the back of the fender rubbed a 1" wide gouge in my rear tire all the way through the tread. Shouldn't this be covered by my warranty? I fixed the fender myself (200 miles from home) I need a new tire for sure, will Stratos take care of this or will I be stuck paying for it?

    Re: Question on warranty (EDEERNET)

to be honest it should be a dealer fix since he is supposed to check all nuts and bolts , but then it is 9 months later and it is the customer responsibility to make visual checks and light maint on stuff. call stratos and see if they will fix or not , but count on sucking it up and learning a lesson. sorry

    Re: Question on warranty (Neilslure)

My trailer did the same thing but I caught it before it did any tire damage. I just replaced the original nuts with nylok nuts and do not expect any further issue. Good luck with the tire.

They also sent me an excel file showing the recall on the retractable tongue....I have no clue how to post it, but I can email it to anyone that wants to see it. It shows 2 pics one good one bad
