I don't even know to be honest lol. The livewell isn't all that important to us as we don't do much tournament fishing other than a charity one or something every once in a while. I think it's 20 gallon but could be wrong, which I'm sure someone will correct me on.

When a blowout was mentioned earlier, I think he was referring to a blowout of the gearcase. I know nothing about your 400 gearcase, but my 200 case used to blow out around 113 on an Allison drag boat.

Impressive build!! I'm considering a 400R on my 21' Allison. I'd like to hear more about the steering and the engine mounts.

Sounds like you have first hand knowledge. Have you found the limiter? Thanks.

Running with 2, the Talon/360, TM and 100lbs of lead shot...basically loaded to fish besides about 50-60lbs of tackle we went 102. That was with a 32 Signature 4 at 6400 and still about 15psi of water pressure. There was more throttle and more jackplate left too, we were having a hard time with the steering and the quartering waves while sorting out the ballasting. Think the original (ultimate) goal of 110 loaded to fish will not be unattainable. This thing pulls like a freakin freight train in the midrange and we never saw the point it stopped accelerating, it is gonna be a seat time issue from here.

It liked both a stiff unvented 29 Promax and the Signature, the Signature felt a little better as there was less stern lift but that could have been partly due to the conditions. Thinking a 28 bravo will be a rocket of a 100mph fishing prop and a 34 will probably find its way on here pretty soon for some stripped down speed runs.

I have a bullet cut bravo 28 and a standard 28 bravo you are welcome to try on that monster. I'm passing through round rock Sunday, could drop it off. Let me know. Not selling them, just offering them up to try out.

I just noticed something in your photo. Make sure the depth collar on the trolling motor is slid all the way down to the base. They have been known to deploy accidentally on occasion and id hate to see that happen at triple digits

I don't think you'll see any updates from him, he has gotten banned.

Didn't he build the boat for his dad and then there was a family dispute resulting in the boat being sold? I can't remember the story but there was one about it.
