    Tounament load speeds

Got a question for you guys that I'll be asking some of the other brand owners. I'm going to be in the market for a new boat again in a couple of years and I'm looking to get my first 19-21 ft glass boat. What I'm looking for is something that can hold speeds in the 70's with 2 guys and a tourney load. I know that boat length vs HP is a major factor so we'll go on this basis... 19ft/200hp, 20ft/225hp, or 21ft/250hp. Basically, what I'm wanting to know is what kind of speed you guys are getting with your set ups on a full load.

'07 Skeeter ZX225 with '07 Yamaha HPDI 225 25T1, #8 dot on jackplate, 2 people about 450lbs, tackle, etc I can get 71 mph. Just me by myself I can get 73-74 mph GPS.

Skeeter 20i with 250 SHO, loaded to the gills with tackle, two guys (400lbs) and full livewells with 20 pounds of fish I was getting 73.2 on Champlain in 90 degree heat and 80 degree water temps. I'll hit 76mph with same setup but empty livewells and cooler temps.

I'm running an 08 zx200 w/stock 200 hpdi at 66-67 in the summer. That's loaded. In cooler weather 68-69. There may be a few 19s out there that can run in the 70+ range loaded but I really doubt it, unless there have been some engine mods.
Maybe a couple of the basscat models.

Full tourney load with the wells full and 2 really fat guys, 63-64. I have not played with the plate but hope to see 65-67 once I do.

    Re: Tounament load speeds (Crosseye)

71 is the best tournament load full that I have run in this I class..>Moderate load 72.xx

Uber light at Havasu with no fuel and a Hydromotive Quad IV 78.2 but i have never seen or attempted to get close to it since.

I just bought a hydro plate so we will see how it does. I have been playing with the plate a ton on the boat lately running different props and I am flat out sick of adjusting manually for altitude and changing loads.
