    Installing a Tach

Been looking at getting a tach. I wanted to know if it is difficult to install one? If anyone has some diagrams and any info on how, I would appreciate it.

    Thanks
    Paul

Yet again Champion comes with the answer. I searched the site for some info but could not find anything. I figured it would be an easy answer. Adding to this question. What brand would you recommend?

    Thanks Champion

teleflex is a popular aftermarket tach. Many boat builders use them also.

OK, sounds good. This boat has never had a Tach so I am installing it brand new. Does this complicate things since there is no existing wiring for the tach?

Champion have you fished with a football coach from clemson any on hartwell??

Nope I hate Clemson actually I'm a fan of the good Bowden. Check your control box there should be a 3 wire plug on it for the tach.
