This is irritating. My ZX225 livewell's leak while closed off. The valves have been replaced and still there is a small leak. Only experience it while running on plane. Would buying a plug for the livewell drain on the outside of the boat correct this. Anybody tried this? If so, what size plug?
A 3/4"plug ,BPS has 'em.Red Floating type. Bought a couple for mine. Solved my losing water issue.
there is a small gap between the top of the well and the deck. water will slosh out there and into the bilge when getting on plane and running in rough water. some people put a little silicone there to seal it off. doesnt bother me

It's not that...as I can be running is glass calm water just on plane and it will run out for as long as I am running. Gonna try plugging the drains on the outside and see what happens.
