The motor has been sitting for a while so I drained the fuel tank and put fresh gas in it, primed the engine till the bulb got hard, and tried to start it. All it would do is crank. What do I do??? Need to get it running fast, have a tourney in two weeks!!
Did you check for spark?

If it has been sitting a while I would check the carbs. When the fuel evaporates it leaves a residue that will gum up the needle valve and the fuel jets. Sometimes this can happen in just 6 months or less with untreated fuel. Allways use a fuel stabilizer with the fuel we use today start breaking down in as little as 30 days.
