I HAVE A EVINRUDE MODEL E70TLCOS THAT WILL NOT RUN WOT.
REPLACED WATER PUMP, INSTALLED VRO KIT, CLEANED OUT THE THERMOSTST.
STARTS OK BUT DIES WHEN TROTTLE IS INCREASED. WILL RUN IDLE SPEED ALL DAY WHEN MECHANICAL IDLE IS INCREASED.
ANY SUGGESTION WILL BE GREAT !
Please turn off the caps locks. It makes it seem you're screaming. The gurus will be around to answer. You may have lost the clear cover for the throttle roller. If so it can cause this problem.
You will need to remove the airbox cover and verify that the throttle plates are opening fully when you advance the throttle fully.
Get a manual and do a link sync.

my old 70 used to be really bad about plugging the H/S jets would idle all day fine punch it and it would get the nose up then fall down and stall. some times i could pump the ball really hard while it was running and it would clear it up. it would do this every time i let it sit up w gas in it for a month
High -Speed Orifices are probably stopped up that is what Champ told me with my 3 Cyl. 55hp and it fixed it. By the way thanks again Champ for Good Advice. Also had a similar issue with my 140hp and cleaned them and it made it run WOT again.
