    Winterized the bug and WOW!

So put the stabalizer and ring free in the fresh fuel and had to run it a little to get some of the new mix into the systems so on the water we went.

Air temp has about 48 with a 5mph wind to provide a little ripple on the water. A new best top speed. With full tanks all my fishing gear and my 20 year old daughter copiloting. 78.6 on the GPS.

It was a little chilly at that speed but sure was fun.

That cold weather works wonders. On mine in the winter with 32* air temps i can get up to 62.

I'm sure I have you all beat for winter speed... as I can tow my boat across the frozen lake as fast as the tow vehicle will go. lol

    *EDIT*

Just noticed the OP is in Minnesota... drag race across a frozen lake?
