Has anyone tested this to see if it works? I have a thread here: http://www.bbcboards.net/showthread.php?t=692948 Asking about this. I have used my entire 8 hrs on one of my Helix 9 units(I have 2). I bought 2 ZLC so that I could get that data on both cards. Humminbird says not possible. I want to try this, but not take a chance at ruining my entire map....

How's the new ONIX software workin' over at "Jimmy's Chicken Shack"????

Pretty good so far. A customer that I installed for last week had a strange chart glitch but we haven't been able to recreate it. We've decided it may have been a corrupt waypoint.

It's much faster than previous versions of the software and the Chirp makes a difference in the 2d for the better. No I still wouldn't pay $$$$ for a transducer or make that my overriding decision in buying a unit but the 2d is nice and clean so I'm running it.

My biggest issue so far are the things still missing from the software. We didn't get the palettes, waypoint management still looks basically nonexistent and no option to adjust screen size. These things, to me should be basic features since they are in both core and Helix models.

Like others that run them I would have a tough time going back.
