I have a 05 TZX 200 with a 04 200 HPDI. I'm running a 24P TXP right around 3 1/2" under pad. I took it out tonight with a good chop and it ran 68.5 with 40 gals gas and all my tackle and myself at 240. At WOT is was right at 6000 rpms with 25+ psi. Holeshot is really good except right before it sets down on pad between 3200 and 3400 the prop acts like it blows out, if I wait a second then mash the hotfoot it grabs. Any suggestions? The boat feels like it has tons of lift and seems like it is barely in the water. I would like to get some more speed but the rpm's make me a little nervous. Would having the prop work do anything? Thanks for the advice in advance.
