    150 or 175 Etech?

    This may have already come up but I'll ask anyway. Is Evinrude going to come out with a 150 or 175 Etech? Seems like they left alot of guys out of the market when it comes to overlooking this hp range. Hope they come out with one soon cause I'm in the market to buy and would really like an Etech.

    There is a 150 and 175 that should be out for the 06 model year, around August.

    There is also a 60 Degree 200 coming.

    Rusty, what does the 60 degree 200 mean and what is the difference between that motor and the regular 200hp. Also what are the advantages or disadvantages?

    It means a 200 HP motor that weights what a 150 does. lighter faster.

    Only until this super secret light weight V8 Etec with a ultra-super-super performance gearcase comes out. I'm gonna need the entire years worth of NBA balls in the jackplate though....

    In all seriousness, it'll only have a Merc on it until it blows...then all etec all the way!
