I am new to this forum. The magnets on the flywhell for my 1990 Johnson 150 model J150STLESB serial R08616087 broke. Don't know if they took anything else out. I can not find a part number for the magnets. went to local dealer, he had no idea. Can some one help, please. Thanks.

don't show the magnets seperately in the parts catalog, plus the flywheel itself with magnets already installed is shown as 'not available'..
better start looking for a used flywheel my friend
Have your dealer check or look yourself on Evinude.com for P/N 584304 magnet kit. This should be 1 magnet, epoxy and instructions. You may need more than one kit. Have an Evinrude tech pull the flywheel, determine the number of broken magnets and check the stator under the flywheel for damage.
Thanks, Sportwin. I have two magnets gone. This doesn't show on the parts list for my motor. I will get one to make sure they are correct. I took the flywheel off. The stator looks beat but not destroyed.
