    Truly Risen above the rest!

I took another tour of the Phoenix Factory today. I have to share this one with all. Have to say first an for most the guys there are great. Could not meet a better group of people an just up front no BS down home folks. Spent time talking with Mark, Jeff, Greg, Gary, some of the guys in the plant along with our own BBC brother Chuck (lknbassman). Let me tell you it was the most educating trip for me. After having my boat for a while an played with every little gadget an fondled every inch of my boat. I had more questions an wanted to know more detail things about these boats. We talked about every detail in DEPTH from the stringers, transom, foam injected into areas, molding there own storage boxes, to why they use certain materials in certain areas. What’s new an what’s old. Problems they may have to what’s being done to fix it. You name it they are aware of it. If not… They are willing to listen to every one who has a concern or idea. No matter how small you think it is. I have toured Stratos boat factory before and I can say.(JMO) Comparing the two? There is none! Less people= less over head= better attention to detail an people actually working and caring what they do. They remember me by name and my boat. I was not treated like a $$$$$. You wont find that at many places. If you have never been….I encourage ANY ONE and EVERY ONE looking for a boat or not….even if you have a boat, of any kind to stop by take a tour just see what’s going on. You just might be surprised on what you see or learn. I thank Jr at sportsman center for wanting to take the time to even talk to me when other dealers thought I was BS'n. I am even more happy about my purchase than before. Proud to own a Phoenix. Thanks guys!!!

RevinKevin....were you there around 2:40. My wife and I took a guided tour with Jeff this afternoon. She and he are deciding what colors I am going to have on it. As long as it's not red or yellow; I can handle it.....LOL. Will be meeting Jr at the Nashville show tomorrow and see if we can work a deal. Will be ordering a 721 w/250 Sho, HDS8/7 and 2 Talon power anchors. It was nice to see how well they are made and you can understand their expense due to how labor intensive they are to put one together.

Ernie glad to hear you enjoyed the factory tour and look forward to meeting you at the show!!! There really are so many extra steps that phoenix takes and little things that they do the only way to encompass it all is to take the tour at the plant.

That video is complete BS. The reason the Talon was shaking and took forever to stop is his buddy is probably on the TM with it turned on 100.

It does raise some question to whats going on behind the scene. Would still like to see some more testing on the talon. Same type seen in the video but from another boat to see all of whats going on.
Congrats on your boat eaither way. Its just awesome how cool those guys are at Phoenix an how much attention to the little things there are. Every one should take more than one tour. You will learn more each time. Cause you will forget stuff on the first trip only to be overwhelmed with info.

Kevin I saw that on the net last night and thought about trying to do something with it, but now know why I left it alone
Cut that frame off of it and would look a whole lot better

I noticed that at the Nashville show a Talon with a stabilizing bar running to the motorwell. My powerpole shakes also but i dont see a reason to have a bar on the talon. Time will tell. I sure the Talon is a good unit.
