what brand is the 20 amp charger on the z9 and would it be worth it to up grade to a different 20 amp charger if not going to a 36 volt trolling motor

I'm thinking the standard charger is a Guest. On my new Z-9, I went with a Stealth Charger this time, after hearing good things about them. Although I have a 36v, it will work with a 24v. The Stealth charges your TM batteries when the big motor is running. You can also charge them at home with AC. I talked to the owner of Stealth after I got mine and he told me if I ran my boat at all during the course of a day, I should never have to charge my TM batteries. He has been absolutely right about that. I have a guage that shows the status of the TM batteries and they have never needed charging. The only reason I plug up the charger is to be sure the cranking battery is fully charged. I am very impressed with this charger.

I think upgrading to a batt charger that will charge your crank battery is worth it. I also think the standard is a Guest, but im not sure, cause i have always upgraded mine due to 36v. I think on a 24v system a stealth charger would be good.
