    Re: (Rmax)

I think I have the step you are talking about in my new 2012 211.

I just think in a boat of this class, it doesn't fit the bill. I love my legend and the staff but this thing belongs in a bass tracker not in a 60,000 boat. A plastic box wrapped in carpet with a 50 cent snap is not what this boat deserves.
This is what I had in mind.

p.s. the passenger rod storage needs to be optional, I have yet to have a co-angler make a boat payment and the added storage will give a place to have a spare prop for those of us running 36 volt systems.
I am not trying to step on toes just Constructive Criticism. I know everyone has a wish list for their perfect boat.

That is a huge difference. I think I would rather have the center flip down seat than that center box.

Options are certainly nice. I would also like to see the passenger rod locker as an option. I have yet to have an passenger that has really used it and of course we can always use more storage.

All these are very good ideas, but I would like to see a 22' Bay boat

    Re: (earl)

Legends have as much storage or more than most others... just not in so dang may compartments that you forget where you put something. I like have everything in one large compartment and plenty under the seats... that many other brands don't have.

But if they would raise that center cooler/dry storage lid to flush with the rest of the deck, it would be perfect!

    Just saying...

    Brett,

Is the insert a functioning lid, or just a spacer?
    Thanks

    Re: (cjmartin315)

It is not a funtioning lid...That is why they have added the GloveBox type door to access the comparment.

I would prefer changing the mold to a flush compartment access lid, with an integrated re-enforced seat post base. It is much easier to access to access the compartment from the top than from the side.

    just saying...

Can something like that be added to a 2010 model 211?

    Re: (Josh Herren)

If my only option were that step up or the center seat, I would probably choose the seat. That cover is very generic in the grand scheme of a Legend boat. The Ranger center console is nice, but I have seen many with broken latches and most have gone back with a strip of velcro (cheap looking). Champion has/had a very nice center console with a rear opening lid that was very effective. It had matching leather arm rests on each side with a center opening.

Yeah, I'd like to see the factory put one of the "Legend" non-skid step pads on every bow coming out of the factory!!!

But I'm a bit partial to that thought anyway...LOL!

That's the center rod box I have. I love it because I can run from the front to the back without tripping on the fold down seat. Accident waiting to happen if you ask me.
