    Recessed trolling motor pan

    Hi All,

I have gone back to using my 89 206TE for the time being. I am really missing my recessed trolling motor foot pedal I had in my other that I sold. Have any of you put pan in this model of Gambler and can it be done?

    Thanks,
    Megabassman

I put one in my 93 Intimidator. Very easy to do, just take your time and think it through!

Thanks Rick for the input. Still not sure if I feel comfortable doing it. Lots of evaluating to do this weekend.

i have a 89 aswell and did it i went back 11 inches from the trolling motor plug or roughly 35 inches from the nose of the boat{as i recall i think that if u went further up u might run into trouble theres a middle brace and if u go back the 11 inches u clear it

Thanks for all the information. Now I need to decide if I really want to do it or not. Least I know it can be done and where to get the tray.

I'll vouch for spook, the trollwell looks fantastic in his Intimidator.

Has anyone done one in a 2006 Ranger 519??? Someone said it may have the factory one in it just under the deck.
